“The Golden Totem “ is part of a series which explores natural objects such as rocks or stones or pieces of wood.  These natural objects become symbolic when designs and symbols are painted or carved into them.  When they are transformed various cultures assign  spiritual totems or meanings reflecting the beliefs of their culture.
